Glandex Semi-Annual Scholarships
Vetnique Labs® is bi-annually awarding a $1,000 scholarships to a current or prospective college student that submits a winning Glandex® essay telling us about a childhood pet you had growing up, or a pet you have now, and how they are part of your family.
As the name Vetnique® implies, we focus on unique veterinary products for pets. We are a veterinarian owned and founded company, and all of our products are recommended by veterinarians and vet specialists worldwide. As a veterinarian based company, we truly understand the health needs of pets better than others, and that’s what sets us apart.
How to Apply
Tell us your unique story, starting with an introduction about who you are, your background and how your pet is is a part of your family.
Requirements: Acceptable essays will be between 1,000-1,200 words long that answer the question: “How is your pet part of your family?”
Dates: We will be accepting submissions for spring scholarships October 1 - November 1, 2020.
How to Submit: All entries should be sent to scholarships@glandex.com
Send your entry to us as an email attachment and include your full name, a headshot of yourself (.png or .jpg format), mobile phone number and address in the email.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Glandex® Scholarship, you must be:
- A legal U.S. resident
- A current undergraduate college student or a current high school student that will be enrolled in a college/university in 2020/2021
Proof of enrollment must be provided with your email submission. This can include a digital scan of your unofficial transcript, letter from admissions or acceptance letter on a school letterhead. Your emailed entry must be received by June 1, 2020 for spring submissions or November 1, 2020 for fall submissions. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Judging Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant that best demonstrates in their own words, how their pet is part of their family. Please use the full word limit (1,000-1,200 words) to best describe how your pet is part or your family.
